The Malnutrition Monitor

1 Nutrition Surveillance Data based on BMI (=Nutrition Screening) | View Summary

2 Nutrition Risk Assessment Data based on SGA (=Nutrition Assessment)

3 The changing pattern of hospital malnutrition (The St. Luke's Medical Center Data)

The Malnutrition Monitor is a service provided by PhilSPEN to update us on the status of nutrition in the different hospitals of the country. An important information is the prevalence of malnutrition in each hospital in a given period of time. It also provides a profile of the different units with their corresponding malnutrition rate.

This current table/database provides us with a summary of the percentage of nutritional status in the hospital (normal, underweight, overweight and obese; malnutrition = underweight + obese) and when you need to view the details in every unit just click on the indicated field and the status of malnutrition per unit/department will be shown in a separate table.

Every nutrition group or hospital nutrition committee is encouraged to submit their data so we will be able to provide an accurate and comprehensive profile of the nutritional status in the hospital in the Philippines. Please click on this URL: contact us to communicate with us and submit your data.

These are the mean nutritional status values of hospitalized patients as submitted to the main PhilSPEN database (= nutrition screening data, BMI based)
