CRITERIA AND PRIVILEGES:
ACTIVE MEMBERS:
- Criteria for active membership:
- Officers of PhilSPEN
- Invited speakers and committee members during the annual PhilSPEN convention
- Attended PhilSPEN convention at least two times since year 2004 (first annual convention)
- Given a PhilSPEN member card
- Has shown influence and intense interest in clinical nutrition
- Paid membership dues
- PRIVILEGES:
- Free access to research data, clinical nutrition guidelines and protocols (local and international) and lectures/presentations given during the convention
- Discounted membership rates and to other resources like books, seminar notes, webinars and others (e.g. T-shirts, bags, nutritionals)
- Endorsements for attendance to seminars, conferences and conventions (local or international) if needed
- Priority in availing of the above previleges
IINACTIVE MEMBERS
- Criteria for inactive status:
- No communication to the Secretariat regarding status for the past five years since inclusion to member status
- Makes communication to the Secretariat for removal from the roster of PhilSPEN members
- How to resume active status:
- Communicate to the Secretariat regarding intention to be reinstated to active status
- Paid the membership dues
PROBATIONARY MEMBERS:
- Criteria:
- Interested in becoming a member of PhilSPEN and communicated with the Secretariat
- Have incomplete submitted requirements
